Expansion Solid team with 2 new employees

In order to meet the increased demand for our software and to continue to provide all our (new) customers with the best service, 2 new employees have been added to the Solid team! Sam Busselman has joined the sales team, while Nicole Meegdes will be involved in implementations and customer support. Nicole and Sam have each followed their own path to Solid and therefore both bring their own competences and specializations.

Sam has combined the studies Economics & Management and Industrial Engineering, has been on a student exchange to Italy and during all this, he has started his own company. Sam: “Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, I learned all aspects of entrepreneurship at home. When I was 18, I took the opportunity to embark on this voyage of discovery. I wanted to apply all my collected knowledge in my own company, evaluate this immediately and then optimize it”. This has led to his greatest entrepreneurial lesson: “Alone you go faster, together you move forward”.

Nicole has worked at USG People for the past 20 years and has gained a lot of knowledge and experience in various positions; Manager Remuneration and Invoicing, Functional Application Manager and, in the past 7 years, Business Process Expert. Within this last position, Nicole and the team were responsible for all administrative processes for the various operating companies within USG People. Optimizing work processes and implementing large projects have been central to her recent work.

Sam Busselman | Sales consultant | Solid Online
Nicole Meegdes | consultant | Solid Online

Both have now started their work at Solid. It has been a good and educational first period for them.

Sam: “The products of Solid really appeal to me, I see a great demand and potential in the market for Saas-solutions. How can we extend these services to multiple branches and multiple Nations? I see it as a challenge to use my competences and experience at Solid Online.”

Because of her work at USG, Nicole is no stranger to Solid: “I got to know a number of Solid’s colleagues through my previous employer and even worked with them. I received a very warm welcome and the first weeks went well. I look forward to a very nice collaboration with my new colleagues and the
different contact persons at our customers!”

Welcome to Solid and we wish both lots of success and working pleasure!
